A website for students to guide them towards college orientation, assessment and education planning
The Step:Forward campaign aims to help students understand priority registration and assist students who are completing a degree or certificate program or transferring to a four-year university get the courses they need to succeed. The Step:Forward website is a valuable tool for students at all Community Colleges, helping them understand the new requirements for priority registration and take the steps needed to reach their educational goals. This website is also integrated with CCCApply, the statewide application website for the Community College system, enabling the site to provide customized information for each college.
This campaign is a joint project of the Foundation for California Community Colleges and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, and is a key part of the Student Success Initiative, which was launched in 2012 by the Board of Governors and state Chancellor’s Office.
Step:Forward was funded through a grant from The Kresge Foundation—a private foundation that works to create opportunities for low-income individuals and improve communities nationwide.0
